Preschool Readiness -

Getting ready to send your child to school is an exciting milestone! Ensuring that they are ready for this new chapter is essential for their smooth transition for early education. A preschool readiness exam is conducted by our pediatric developmental specialist. With a focus on evaluating your child’s cognitive abilities, social skills, language skills, and overall readiness for classroom learning. This exam helps identify any areas of concern and provides support before starting preschool.

When is a preschool readiness exam important?

This is a proactive approach that provides insight into your child’s development and readiness for the social and academic aspects of preschool. Identifying any potential gaps or delays early on allows those areas to be addressed promptly to ensure that your child is equipped with tools needed to have overall success in the preschool setting.

What does the exam involve?

The Bracken School Readiness Assessment is administered individually, with no time limit required. It is appropriate for children ages 3 to 6 years of age and takes about 15 minutes to administer. Skills necessary for Bracken success includes knowing colors, letters, numbers & counting, shapes, size, and other comparisons.  It can be administered both in English and Spanish.

We understand that every child is unique, and it is our goal to help them thrive in any environment. Our team of compassionate professionals are dedicated to supporting you and your child through this exciting time in life.
