What To Expect

Before Your Visit
Take some time to gather any necessary medical documentation. This should include any previous evaluation reports your child may have had. It is also a good idea to make a list of any questions and concerns you may have. Arriving prepared will help our clinical developmental team have a complete and comprehensive understanding of your child’s background.

The Day Of
You will meet with our pediatric developmental specialist for an initial consultation. During this time, you will have an opportunity to discuss your child’s development, questions about developmental milestones, and any other questions you may have. Our team is here to help, we will listen to your observations on your child and work to address any questions that you may have.

Developmental Screening
Based on the information gathered in the previous consultation, we will perform the necessary exam or screening. This can include an assessment, observation, (tools used to evaluate various aspect of child development). Examples of areas of development that are likely to be examined – motor skills, speech and language skills, social interest and interactions, cognitive abilities.

After The Assessment
Our team will give you the results and provide personalized recommendations depending on your child’s needs. This may include referrals to specialists, therapists, or educational resources to help support your child’s development. We will be here to answer any questions or concerns that you may have to the best of our abilities.
