Meet Our Providers
Monica Tagle, RN, MSN, CPNP-PC, ASDCS N
Monica Tagle is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She joined Little Spurs in 2022 as the Associate Medical Director of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics. Monica earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2002 and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association. Monica specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, and ADHD, and is bilingual. She is trained in ADOS-2 administration, with extensive experience assessing and diagnosing autism, and brings specialized expertise in pediatric developmental and behavioral care. Monica enjoys working closely with families to understand each child’s unique strengths and challenges and providing individualized guidance and care plans. The goal in each assessment is to provide answers while empowering parents and caregivers with practical strategies to support their child’s growth, communication, social skills, and daily routines at home and in school.
Dr. Vinetra King Murphy, Child Psychologist
Dr. Vinetra King Murphy is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in culturally and trauma-sensitive assessments. Dr. King earned her Ph.D. in Medical/Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), completed a predoctoral psychology internship in Baltimore, MD, and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Maternal Child Health Leadership Education for Adolescent Health at UAB with Children’s Hospital of Alabama – with experience in hospitals, schools, primary care, inpatient psychiatric units, and juvenile detention, she brings extensive multidisciplinary expertise. Dr. King serves children, adolescents, and young adults, partnering closely with families to interpret results, answer questions, and develop individualized care plans that build skills, confidence, and independence. She offers social-emotional training for schools and advocates for policies that support child and adolescent mental health. Her focus is on providing developmental and behavioral evaluations here in San Antonio; including ADOS-2 assessments for autism, along with consultations for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Dr. King Murphy combines her expertise with a compassionate, family-centered approach, guiding families through assessments and providing clear, actionable steps to support their child’s growth.
What We Offer
